Gaelen joined Grover S. Cox Law Office as a law clerk prior to passing the Kentucky Bar Exam and became licensed to practice law in October of 2014. He focuses his practice on representing claimants and plaintiffs in personal injury cases and on helping clients navigate the complex U.S. immigration bureaucracy. Gaelen’s practice areas include auto and truck collisions, premises liability, and immigration law.

Originally from West Lafayette, Indiana, Gaelen has called Louisville home since his graduation from Earlham College. While attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Gaelen worked as a student attorney with the Immigration and Human Rights Clinic, and as the student director of the Center for New Americans. In these positions Gaelen represented asylum applicants on appeal before the 2nd and 8th Circuit Courts of Appeal and provided pro bono representation to individuals detained by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
